Fuego vs Pingo AI: Conversation and What Comes After
Choose Fuego if you want a defined daily mix of word packs, flashcards, listening and AI conversation. Consider Pingo if its conversation-led path and wider language selection fit your goals. Both support Polish. Neither comparison should rest on claims that Pingo lacks Polish or that Fuego has a scenario map. Those would misdescribe the current products.
What is this comparison based on?
Fuego is our app. We checked the linked official product pages and US App Store listings on October 23, 2026, and checked Fuego against its product specification. This is a comparison of documented features, not a hands-on test of every competitor or a measured study of learning outcomes. Recommendations below are our judgment about which workflow fits each learner.
Prices are snapshots in US dollars where a public plan is identifiable. A store listing can contain several offers, including older ones; it does not promise that every account can buy each offer. Check the billing period and renewal total at checkout. We do not publish a fixed Fuego price because its store sets the local offer.

What kind of conversation do you want to return to?
Pingo’s website frames learning around goals and situations you care about. Its public examples include travel and interview practice. That is worth exploring when you have a specific conversation in mind. We have not tested how consistently the app follows a topic across sessions, so we do not convert the marketing examples into a claim about measured personalization quality.
Fuego’s tutor picks the topic and adapts as you talk. You set your level on a slider and can adjust correction style and tone. If choosing a prepared scenario is essential, Fuego does not offer that menu. Its value in this comparison is the combination of a tutor exchange and a daily set of other activities.
What will you do the next day?
A useful conversation can still leave you with a phrase you cannot recall later. Fuego lets you save words into flashcards and ends a session with a recap. Its separate word packs cover 1,000 core words per language, with audio, a picture and an example for every word. Those are concrete resources to inspect alongside the chat.
Pingo says it carries information from earlier conversations into later practice. We have not verified the exact controls for saving, editing or exporting its vocabulary. Ask a smaller question during evaluation: can you locate yesterday’s useful phrase and practice it without reading it first? A claim that an app remembers you is not the same as confirming that its review workflow suits you.
Is Polish still a differentiator?
Pingo now has an official Polish learning page. That invalidates older advice to choose Fuego merely because Pingo supposedly does not teach Polish. Pingo’s broader advertised catalog can also matter if you want to study a language that Fuego does not support.
For a fair Polish comparison, use the same task in both apps, such as describing yesterday or asking for directions. Notice whether you can understand the reply and find the correction again. This is a suggested personal check, not a test we claim to have run. You can also inspect our free Polish word list before installing Fuego.
What do the Pingo store prices actually establish?
The US listing shows several purchases named Pingo Pro, including different amounts. Those labels do not identify each billing period. We therefore do not describe one as a monthly subscription or another as the annual plan. The checkout inside your account is the place to confirm both the first payment and the renewal.
Use the same standard for Fuego: read the local store’s total and period rather than treating this article as a price guarantee. Fuego’s first conversation does not automatically turn into a paid subscription. If a daily set of vocabulary and comprehension activities is what you want around the tutor, try that routine first. If a language outside Fuego’s seven is your priority, look elsewhere.
Frequently asked questions
Does Pingo AI support Polish?
Yes. Its official website has a Polish learning page. Both Pingo and Fuego support Polish.
How much is Pingo AI per month?
We could not identify a billing period from every Pro purchase label on the public US listing. Check the in-app checkout rather than assuming the $14.99 entry is a monthly price.
Is this a hands-on Pingo review?
No. It compares official product descriptions and public store information against Fuego’s specification. It does not claim an independent performance test or a learning-speed result.
