Your private German tutor, by voice or by text. Learn German by actually speaking it.

German rewards people who just start talking. Say it your way, I answer, and I fix the order of the words so it sounds right next time.

A first chat

YouGestern ich habe mit meinem Chef gesprochen.

FuegoOh, und worüber habt ihr gesprochen? Hoffentlich über eine Gehaltserhöhung.

Better: Gestern habe ich mit meinem Chef gesprochen.

The verb comes second. Start with gestern and habe jumps in front of ich.

The parts of German I help with most

  1. Der, die, das

Three genders and no rule you can trust. I correct them in your own sentences, so they stick to words you actually use.

  2. Where the verb goes

Second place, or all the way at the end. It feels backwards until it doesn't. I show you each time you trip.

  3. The cases

Dem, den, des. I keep the explanations short and the examples from your life, not from a table.

Start with the words

  1. 1 ja yes
  2. 2 nein no
  3. 3 hallo hello
  4. 4 tschüss goodbye
  5. 5 bitte please
  6. 6 danke thank you
  7. 7 Entschuldigung sorry
  8. 8 Entschuldigen Sie excuse me

How lessons go

  1. We talk.

Hold to speak, or type. Rough is fine.

  2. I review.

After each chat you get a short recap: what went well, the words worth keeping, and the corrections.

  3. You practice.

Your mistakes and new words come back as flashcards, listening and reading.

Questions

Can I start German from zero?

Yes. Tell me you are new and I start with short, simple sentences and explain in your language. As you grow, I switch to German a little more each week.

Do I have to speak out loud?

No. Hold the button and speak when you feel like it, or type. It is the same tutor with the same corrections either way.

Do I need an account?

No. Open the app and start talking. There is nothing to sign up for.
