Fuego is made by Filip Kowalski, a developer from Poland who has lived on Mallorca for four years. His Spanish was good enough to read a menu and not good enough to talk to the neighbours.
Apps taught him words. Nobody made him speak. So he built a tutor that talks back, remembers what you get wrong, and never makes you feel slow for it.

How it is built
Conversation runs on large language models, and my voice on speech recognition and speech synthesis. Your chats are stored so I can remember you. You can delete your account in the app at any time, and it is gone right away.
